PRESTON AEROSPACE INC

Our patent pending technologies and cost effective design ethos combine to create uniquely capable unmanned vehicle systems

Although our name may not be familiar - our engineers have worked quietly to develop more than a dozen unmanned systems for both classified and unclassified applications

Our History

We created Preston Aerospace in 2008 to meet the needs of one particular government customer.  Our initial focus centered on the development of Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) technology needed to carry large payloads with unprecedented navigational and maneuvering precision in a low altitude environment. In the last few years our staff has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from air launched UAS development, to Directed Energy technology, to advanced monopropellant thruster development  Our staff has the experience and expertise that comes with participating in the development of more than a dozen different UAS and the integration of more than two dozen different payloads for both classified and unclassified missions.

Small company agility combined with decades of Unmanned Vehicle Development expertise

Our Vision

For us it's simple - we created the company so that we could focus on meeting the customer's needs with the flexibility, cost effectiveness, and rapid decision making that only a small company can provide.  We love what we do because we are in control of our own destiny.  We seek work that both interests us and allows us to make a significant contribution to solving a customer's problems. Unlike large firms, we do not take contracts simply to generate revenue growth and/or supply charge numbers to marginally qualified employees. We live by a few simple rules:

  • The simplest engineering solution is usually the best
  • Intellectual honesty is paramount - the customer needs to know the real score
  • Development without process is chaos - but process cannot be it's own Raison d'être
  • Treat customers and fellow employees with courtesy and consideration
  • Judge ideas on their merits independent of their source
